WAVEDIR is a software for acquisition, processing and visual display of data specifically issued from the DATAWELL Directional Waverider and the Warec receiver.

MétéoMer has developed this software running on PC with the Windows interfaces 98, NT & XP . The user can modify at his own convenience all the acquisition, saving and visualization parameters. WAVEDIR analyses the numerical signal emitted by the buoy, archives and visualises in real time :

• - the raw data
• - the spectra
• - the time series in both graphic and numerical forms
• - statistics informations
• - GPS positions (if sensor)

All data displayed on the PC screen can be printed.

WAVEDIR also allows subsequent analysis of the archived data with visualisation and printing of raw data, spectra and time series. The software can generate time series with files which have been previously recorded.

A user-friendly on-line help is available at any moment in WAVEDIR.

WAVEDIR is provided in French and English versions.
